James Poulnot Is Taken By Death

James Poulnot, 76, of Watkinsville died at a local hospital Sunday night following a very brief illness. Mr. Pounet has ived in Ocnee County all his life.

The Rev. ack Smith, pastor of Bishop Christian Church will officiate at funeral services which will be held in Bernstein Chapel at a time to be announed later.

Rev. Smith will be assisted by the Rev. Phil Esty, pastor of Friendship Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Bearden Cemetery.

Survivors included two duaghters, Mrs. Jessie Marshall, Savannah, and Mrs. Barnett Mitchum, Atlanta; two sons, H.H. Poulnot, Watkinsville, and James M. Uoulnot, Athens; a sister, Miss Emma Poulnot, Athens, a brother, Robert Poulnot, Griffin, eight grandchildren, and six great children.
