Miss Mattie L. Landrum Dies at Hospital
Miss Mattie Lizzie Landrum, aged 22, died at a local hospital at 10 o'clock
this morning, after an illness lasting four days. Funeral services will
be conducted from Wray's church in Oconee county tomorrow morning at 11
o'clock by Rev. Z. Speer, assisted by Rev. W.L. Lunsford, pastor of Watkinsville
Methodist church. Interment will be in Wray's church cemetery, with the
following pallbearers; Messrs. Curtis Lovern, Clyde Lovern, Glenn Lovern,
Chessel Lovern, Arte Dunaway, Ira Dunaway. McDorman-Bridges funeral home
will be in charge. Miss Landrum was a native of Oconee county. She is survived
by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Landrum, High Shoals; five sisters, Misses
Fannie Lou, Myrtle, Mary Claire, Blanche, Latrelie Landrum, and two brothers,
Mr. Otis Landrum, High Shoals, and Mr. Edgar Landrum, Tifton.
