I MATILDA MAXEY of said Sate and County being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make this my last will and testament.
Item first: I give bequeath and devise to G?. W. DOWNS, W. M. DOWNS, THOMAS MAXEY Jr., INROS? MAXEY, WOODSON FAMBROUGH, CHARLES and one of S. T. MAXEYs children, provided, the said S. T. MAXEY has a living child at my death, if not the above named six children must have it equally divided those that may be alive at my death the following property to wit: One hundred and fifteen acres of land known as the "Home Place" and also all of my household and kitchen furniture all the notes and accounts that may be due me at my death; also what money I may have on hand at my death. All the above named property shall be equally divided between the above named children at my death or what part of may be alive at my death, after all my debits are paid. Should there be any against me and all expenses paid for settling up my estate.
Item second: I hereby constitute and appoint my friend LINDSAY W. DOWNS Executor of this my last will and testament.
This the 23d day of Oct. 1891.
