Elmus Royster Pension

Georgia, Clarke County

Elizabeth J. Royster, Susan Royster and Orris Royster personally before me on Oath say that they are the sisters of Elmus Royster, who was killed in the battle at Ellyson Mill on 26th June 1862 being then a private in Company C 44th Reg Ga Vol's that they have neither father, mother, brother or other sisters living, that said Elmus Royster was never married and has neither wife or child and that there is no other person entitled to claim the arrears of pay or commutation money due said Elmus Royster Deceased except the deponents.

William Wood personally before me on Oath says that he knew Elmus Royster above named when in life, that he knows Elizabeth J. Royster, Susan Royster and Orris Royster the sisters of said Elmus Royster Deceased, that the father and mother of Elmus Royster are dead, that there is no brother or sister of Elmus Royster living except the three above mentioned, that Elmus Royster had neither wife or child and that there is no other person entitled to claim the arrears of pay and commutation money due said Elmus Royster.
