Thomas North Epps was born July 28, 1828 in Clarke County the son of William and Sara Alexander Epps. He married Penelope Jennings who was born September 10, 1834 in Jennings Mill, Clarke County. They are buried at Mars Hill in Oconee Co., GA. The home place was at the end of old Cord Mill Road (in the area that is near Home Depot and Lowe's off Epps bridge Parkway).
